Essential Duties of this Opportunity:

The CSS District Manager has the unique role of connecting individual branches in a region too their specific markets bringing them into alignment with our larger company initiatives.

• Promote our Safety Culture “Working at an acceptable level of risk” through Risk Assessment and Compliance based initiatives
• Serve a Team of Leaders with a focus on their continued growth and advancement
  • Conduct Weekly Regional Team calls to promote awareness and Teamwork
  • Conduct Monthly Regional Team Meetings to focus on larger issues
• Be the example of Our “One TEAM” Barnhart Culture and Company Values
  • Support our Barnhart Branch Partners
  • Support our Barnhart Cares Initiatives
• Lead Branches to set and succeed in their Metrics and implementation of Key Initiatives

• Mentor the Branch Teams by fostering a collaborative problem-solving culture
• Oversee the execution of Annual Branch Inventories
• Oversee the Quarterly Execution of Salesmen Bonuses

The District Manager reports to a Regional Director or RD. The RD provides counsel, access to Team resources and performance accountability designed to assist in leading the branches to maturity. A mature Region has: A primary focus on Crane Service, Parts Sales, Bare Rental, and New and Used Crane Sales. A mix of healthy branches and others moving toward health; and people pipeline that includes Crane Mechanics, Service Writers, Parts Personnel, and Salesmen.

Preferred Experience:

• Demonstrated Leadership development
• Proven Financial acumen for budgeting and delivering on results
• Project Management experience in construction and/or industrial industries
• Management Reporting expertise in communicating metrics, processes, and enhancements
• Mechanically inclined with a proven history of success in heavy equipment industry

Education: Bachelor’s degree or sufficient experience

Experience: Previous Leadership experience preferred
