This course is designed to cover the current safety training requirements found in the OSHA standards for Powered Industrial Trucks (Forklifts). The combination of classroom instruction and practical exams assures that trainees are well equipped to be qualified powered industrial truck operators who have the knowledge and skills to operate forklifts in a safe professional manner.

- Forklift Components, Design, and Technology
- Forklift Operator Pre-Use Inspection
- Operational Characteristics of Forklifts and Best Practices for Safe Operation

The classroom portion of the course typically requires 2 - 2.5 hours
- Up to two sessions of the course may be scheduled per day. Sessions may be attended by up to 20 people
- The fee for each classroom course session and materials is $1800.00

The practical exams require about 15 - 20 minutes per person
- All practical exam course layout materials are provided
- Fees are based on the time necessary to administer exams at the rate of $200 per hour
- For training at locations more than 60-miles from Omaha, NE, additional fees for travel expenses apply
- After successful completion of the course, a certificate of completion is issued to each trainee
